- Log in to the Hofstra Portal (http://my.hofstra.edu).
- Click the My Apps button on the top right of the screen, followed by the Blackboard button. You can also click the Blackboard button located in the My Courses section of the Portal.
- If you're a faculty member, you will receive a notice about copyrighted materials. Click OK to the copyright compliance message.
Getting to your course within Blackboard

Info on why you may not see a course listed in Blackboard can is available in our knowledge base.
Navigating a Blackboard course
Once you are in a course on Blackboard, use the navigation menu located on the left side of the page to get to the different parts of your course. Since professors can customize the navigation menu, the appearance may differ from course to course. If you don't see the navigation bar visit our missing navigation menu knowledge base article for assistance.
