Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within Blackboard. While running the LockDown Browser, the test taker will be unable to print or copy/paste data. They will also be prevented from navigating away from the test to another website or application. If a professor configures a test to require Respondus LockDown Browser, the test taker will be unable to take the exam in a standard browser.

Respondus LockDown Browser isn't a standard browser like Internet Explorer or Safari. It should only be used for taking exams that require it on Blackboard.
